The SUNY Empire Online Library only has ebooks, no print books. Many books available in print simply have no ebook version for libraries.

To find ebooks in our library:

1. Go to the library homepage

3. In the OneSearch box at the top of the page type the title of the book in quotation marks, and click the search button

4. To eliminate articles and reviews about the book from the search results, change "All Available" to "Ebooks" in the drop-down menu to the right of the search box.

If the ebook does not appear in the search results:

1. Go to Worldcat.org

2. Search for your book's title in quotation marks

3. Click the entry for your book in the search results list

4. Scroll down the page until you see the "Enter your location" box, and enter your zip code. You will see a list of libraries near your location that have the book.

5. If you do not see a library near you in the first entry you checked, go back and check your search results list; you may see the book listed several times in different editions or formats.

Via SUNY's Open Access arrangement, if you take your SUNY Empire photo ID to any SUNY, CUNY, or NY community college library, they will let you borrow books.

Also, you may be able to get a special regional borrowers card from your public library, that will give you borrowing privileges at other college and special libraries in your area.
